BizLink SeaLine® CCTV camera cables
Hybrid cables in modern shipbuilding applications
CCTV, Closed Circuit Television, means a video surveillance system for monitoring private or public spaces. Closed lines represent the non-public transmission of images and footage. This ensures that no access by third parties can take place.
More and more surveillance cameras are being installed on modern cruise ships for security reasons. BizLink offers a hybrid cable for this purpose, which is available in three variants: for analog image transmission, via a coaxial cable element, digitally via a Cat 5+ element or via an optical fibre.
In shipbuilding, and especially in the offshore sector, CCTV systems are used to monitor ship loading and unloading. In addition, these systems are also used for safety-related aspects, such as the monitoring of oil drilling platforms.
